The Story Behind ChallanMitra
India's traffic police now use AI speed cameras and automated e-challan systems in almost every major city. These systems catch violations instantly, but paying the fine is often anything but instant. Many vehicle owners don't even know a challan exists until it shows up during an RC transfer or insurance renewal. Others get stuck when a challan is sent to virtual or physical court and they have no idea what to do next.
That confusion is exactly why we started ChallanMitra. We wanted to give vehicle owners a simple way to check pending challans and, more importantly, a reliable way to resolve the ones stuck in court. Instead of dealing with government portals or standing in line at a traffic court, our users connect with verified legal representatives who handle the entire filing and resolution process for them.
